Landscapes are living eco systems and environments. They have existed well before our time.... and will hopefully continue to exist way beyond the time we are here.

When taking photographs, time and space seem hard for me to measure. When I'm out photographing things are quiet, everything seems simple again – and I obtain a respect and reverence for the world that is hard to communicate through words. For me these moments happen when the exterior environment and my interior world combine. These are the moments when I can hear my heart beat again.

Hopefully the images presented help communicate how I feel and what I see during these moments.

All the photos presented (with the exception of the White Sands image) were shot between March 2005 and today (2017). All images are captured as latent images. Prints are produced using archival pigment inks on acid free, pure cotton fiber paper.
